Chicago, Illinois, July 14, 2026 — Less than 90 minutes after Lozen Advisory announced The Name Standard℠ for enterprise AI accountability, JumpCloud released new research reporting that human review before high-risk AI actions had fallen from 40% to 25% in six months, while full autonomy without human review had risen from 11% to 26%.
The findings place a large-enterprise data point behind the governance problem Lozen Advisory addressed earlier that morning: organizations are moving AI agents into production faster than they are building reliable evidence of human accountability.
JumpCloud’s research focuses on identity, access, lifecycle controls, and the governance of non-human identities. Those controls can establish which agent acted and what permissions it held. They do not, by themselves, establish which human or institutional actor remained accountable for the consequential decision.
That distinction is central to The Name Standard℠. Technology ownership, system access, and agent identity do not automatically prove that an authorized human exercised judgment, had the authority to intervene, or left an auditable record of review.
Identity governance can establish which agent acted. Human attribution establishes who remains accountable for the decision.
The market convergence is significant. AI autonomy is increasing while human review is declining, making accountability harder to infer after an incident, regulatory inquiry, litigation event, or board challenge. Organizations need a repeatable way to determine whether AI-assisted decisions remain attributable to a responsible human or institutional actor before those decisions leave the enterprise.
